That really hasnt been our personality all year. I like to beat people on their butts. I like to send a message early, but thats my style. It doesnt seem like thats our teams style, and thats okay. But we do have to figure out a way to let people understand that its not going to be a freebie all night, and its not going to be pretty, and its not going to be the way they want to do it. If were going to dictate the way the game is played, then they are going to play it our way.

On the game

No, you dont get caught up in that. We were much different last time. I think were much better. We have a lot more composure and a lot more trust. Then we were trying to figure it out but we still jumped out to a 20 point lead. It was tough to keep that. Theyre a good team and just kept grinding and now were more aware.

On the game

Evergamey time you lose its disappointing. We just have to put it behind us and get ready for Friday.

We step out there and put our best foot forward, guys are coming over our backs, and we just have to put a body on them.

It doesnt mean much. It could have been a lot better. I would like the game if I only score two points but we win.

Give them credit I thought (Miami) was more physical than we were and got out after us and we didnt get the shots we like to get. They pushed us out on the floor and forced us out of things. When we executed and moved the ball fairly well we got decent shots, but the rest of the time we didnt have that. They have some great players and youve got to try and deal with them. I dont think we dealt with them quite as good as we would, but thats life.

You could tell they had a chip on their shoulder coming into the game. They got up in us and played. They got a lot of deflections, we turned the ball over a few times and it cost us the game.

I really do think thats a correlation to what we went through early on and dealing with a lot of adversity, dealing with such extreme pressure and expectations and speculation that when we werent winning we had one of two choices: crumble or figure it out together. When you are able to do that, you become tougher. You see it manifest in close games like this against tough teams when you have a tough mindedness, especially when things arent going your way.

On being on the floor with LeBron James

They are going to have the same mindset that Miami did. They feel like they will have a chip on their shoulder, and they are going to want some payback. So we have to be ready to play.

For right now every win is significant. But when you go into a building like this, a hostile environment with a team thats very good, great in this building. Its always good to get a win like this.

On the game

It was a complete team effort. Everybody from the starters to the bench. Everybody contributed to tonights win and were going to need that on this road trip.

I think they are starting to figure out what works for them and what has put them into position to win. They had us spread out. When you have Zydrunas and Chris Bosh on the floor at the same time, its really hard to help out on Dwyane Wade and LeBron because they are such good shooters. They were executing pretty well.

On the fourth quarter

The biggest change we made more than anything is communicating, talking to each other and seeing what guys were comfortable with, reading the game, seeing what the game was throwing at us. Besides that, just time. Time (has) helped with everything. Out here we all feel comfortable. We know kind of what were comfortable within the game, throughout the flow of the game, you understand the matchups.

Definitely a great team win for us. Great role win verse a very, very good team. Not only in the Western Conference but the whole league. It was a good team effort by us.

It was big. For one, theyre one of the best teams in the league and this is a tough place to play. The crowd was in it from the get go and theyve been on a bit of a streak themselves. So this was a very important game for us, just to show that we can play when we bring the right mindset.

I think once we both figured it out, it became an easier game for us because we could go to each other and say you do it or you do it and we can still be affective on the court together at the same time.

When you have guys like that around your parameter, different guys can take over at different times, you have to pay attention to at least one of them. LeBron went off in the first half.

I dont think we (handled him) at all, he got 33 points, nine assists and seven rebounds. Hes a great player and it looked like at times we were intimidated by him and Wade. I wish we would have got up and got after him like they were getting after us.

Obviously a solid win in a tough building against a very good team. They have been playing well. Basically in a game like this, against the Utah Jazz, its by any means necessary. Sometimes its not going to be pretty. Sometimes you do things, like turn the ball over. They get very physical. You cant get wrapped up in the other distractions. We maintained our defensive effort. We got some breaks in the fourth quarter to open it up.
